Summary
The Temple of Illaros believes that power is success and that you can trust your own kind. The Temple symbolises, Power, Hardship, Hatred and the Illusion of the heart.
Most dedicated followers, act in Illaros's footsteps, gaining power, and not trusting others who are not in the Temple. Most followers are very possesive over their belongings, they will not let anyone get close to them and will follow thier own path. Though if they care alot about someone, they can tend to get obsessed and end up hurting themselves or the ones they love.
Some followers are in the rebel group against the Kingdom, but some are living in the Kingdom freely though they are not allowed to worship their god. rebels dislike all the other temples.
The Long Version
Illaros isn't considered a Warrior God since he was a traitor to his companions, and betrayed the poeple of the kingdom.
He had told the King of Darkness of their plans to attack him, and in return the King gave him the power of the Shadow Knight. I power if used will shorten his life but will give him tremendous power.
Even though, he didn't expect his companions to defeat the King of Darkness, he didn't go back to their side and took his own path of destruction. When Zenet died he knew that the other two would be easy to kill and he could take the Kingdom for himself.
But when he found out that Dath, his rival, had left for the Land of Flames, he knew Cybilla would be lonely and it would be an opportune momment to strike.
But as he watched her, he realised that her beauty was something he had not recongised before, and instead of hating her, he started falling in love with her.
As time went by, he wanted Cybilla to be with him and not Dath. He wanted her to long for him and not the musculed head warrior. So when she was about to state her love for Dath, he seduced her. He wanted her to love him and seduced her.
Though, it had not gone as he had planned. Ashamed by the fact that she had slept with another man, she hid herself and didn't talk to him.
Illaros was devastated. It was her feelings for Dath that made her do this. So when Dath returned, he made sure that he found out that they had slept together. If he could get rid of Dath, then Cybilla would be his.
And so they fought for 5 days at the Ruins of the Silent. And after 5 days he plunged his dagger into Dath's heart. Overcome with happiness that he had defeated him he set out to find Cybilla, but he didn't know that Cybilla was with Dath in his last moments and planned to take revenge.
When Cybilla walked towards him, he ran to her. She was his and no one could take her away. And for the final time, he seduced her. But as he was going to say his love for her, she stabbed him with his own dagger, still fresh with Dath's blood.
And as she walked away to let him die, he swore that he would take revenge on both Dath and Cybilla because they were both at fault for his death.
Illaros's followers found their dieing hero, a few hours after he had been stabbed. His last words were. 'I have chosen my own path and I have made my own decisions. The dove would rather choose a piegon than a nightingale. The dove blinded me with a blanket of illusion, and the piegon taunted me, though in the final battle he wasn't good enough for her. Both shall pay for what they have done...' then he died.
The followers named him Illaros of the Azure dagger, since his feelings of hurt and confusion were never cleared.
